Jason:
This first link comes directly from the official BSA website and explains what the boy scouts of america is really all about. It provides the traditions and even history of the scouts in great detail
I decided to choose a website from a different country as well because I like the Idea of all scouts being united despite being from different countries and I felt this was the perfect example. This website explains a scouts purpose, principle and how they exactly benefit a community and environment.
Once again, this website comes directly from the official BSA site and it demonstrates the simple question: why scouting? a very understandable question with a deeper meaning. The BSA guides scouts in the right direction and creates them into model citizens of not only the United States but the entire world.
